The QAP is the only nationally recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry. This program was developed to promote quality, safety, and reliability within the industry. NMEDA has equipment for vehicle passengers and for those who want to drive, a wheelchair carrier for different types of vehicles and product solutions for caregivers who need to safely transport these passengers. I think this is a terrific way of truly helping the physically challenged to gain independence and boost their self-esteem.
