Making Orange Juice

Because I missed my husband, I decided to make fresh orange juice with my 4-year-old.

Huh? What's the connection? Nothing. Teehee! It's just that I have a manual juicer, we have oranges and my daughter loves the fruit. She asked me to do it with her thanks to Special Agent Oso's suggestion in one of the episodes of Three Healthy Steps. These steps are (not verbatim):

  1. Ask an adult to slice oranges in half.
  2. Squeeze out the juice.
  3. Pour into a glass.
A great and simple activity we can do with young kids, making fruit juices lets them experience how these are made. Squeezing exercises their little hands and the orange taste tickles their tastebuds.

Serve and enjoy!
